Easy to use UV pen with a UV lamp in the cap so you can see the security marks made by the pen. The pen is quite short so can access the smallest of areas. The pen comes equipped with a fine tip. The lamp is also useful to see if an item is marked or not. It take out all the guess work which existed with marker only pens.

Not much to say really other than it works. The pen writes and the light shows up the writing. Price was great too.
Edit - Not sure that this is really a security product, since it turns out that the ink easily rubs off plastic and other hard surfaces due to it not drying properly on these types of surface. It is probably more likely to be for writing "secret" messages on paper (the sort of things that kids or teenage girls would do). The UV light in the lid is useful though. I now need to find myself a proper UV marking pen that will not just rub off.

Bought this pen to mark up items incase they were ever stolen. It is very difficult to see what you are writing. Trying to check it with the light is just as difficult as the light is very dim and too small. Left the markings for some time and re-checked with another UV light i have and the markings just smudged. Have thrown the pen away! Will buy another more expensive one.

The pen in itself doesn't really work and the light is working properly 50% of the time at best.

This item could not make up its mind whether or not it was actually working - at first the UV light simply failed to work at all. Without the UV light it was impossible to test whether of not the marker pen worked. Eventually after many attempts, the UV light spluttered into life. I abandoned my plans to send it back to the vendor and put the pen away. I had bought it for my daughter, so next time she came to visit I handed it over, Hey presto, the UV light failed instantly, and it hasn't worked since. This is worse than if it had never worked at all, because it prevented me from buying a new one. Really terrible value, I would urge anybody not to buy this item.
