| Customer Reviews: Samsung HT C5200 Blu Ray Home Cinema August 16, 2010 GazM 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Really liked the look of this bit of kit & already have other Samsung products TV etc which have really impressed me & not let me down so went for it. Very easy to set up & once going very impressed with picture etc. 2.1 system suited me as I did not want the fuss of extra wires with 5.1 or more. Like the screen fit feature in particular one press of the button on the remote & the black bars top & bottom of TV are removed so you see the picture on all of TV screen. Anynet feature synchs Samsung products so when TV switched off Home Cinema switches off as well. Sky HD sounds great with optical lead. As with all new purchases worthwhile playing around with settings etc as this system allows you to change speaker settings for distance & bass which enhances the surround sound experience to your taste. Not used internet functions as system purchased purely for surround sound. All in all a great one box solution at a great price. I love it & would not hesitate to recommend.
samsung HT-C5200 blu ray 2.1 ch Home Theatre System July 2, 2010 rockola 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
some reports said noisey fan, but we haven`t had this problem. this is a good product for the price, and found the 2.1 ch plenty good enough for our living room size 15ft by 18ft.the only problem we found was no hdmi cable and digital optical audio cable which are not provided by manufacturer, so you need to buy them as extra.
VFM BUT A FEW NIGGLES August 11, 2010 efcmark777 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Looks good and was relatively easy to set up though there are still lots of cables ! Sound is great and for a 2.1 system perfectly adequate for most living rooms. Blu Ray is sharp and sound equally immpressive. The HDMI link to your HDMI TV is what we hoped for and somehow makes the investment in a lovely Samsung 1080p flat screen well worthwhile. For some annoying reason the blu ray, once started up, insists on defaulting back from HDMI 1 to "D-LIN", meaning you must reset the match to your TV's HDMI 1 output...it takes just a second with the RC but its still a pain. Similarly be prepared for some hassles using Wii with the system....its messy and getting the link right is another pain.
But......overall we are really pleased with this system and at the price is does what it says on the tin so you will not be disappointed.
Good Blu-ray Home Cinema August 5, 2010 Mr. Jason Frost (Twickenham, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I needed a 2.1 system as I can't be bothered with the extensive wiring required for a 5.1 system and wireless does not float my boat.
This does the trick. Great pictures and good features. Good sound.
Only issue is that the disc drive is a little noisy.
Samsung surround sound September 1, 2010 A. Joseph (London UK) A great product especially if you dont want wires trailing everywhere, it sounds good and does what is says on the box. Not as easy to set up as I would have liked, but maybe thats me
